• Organize Cookie Dough Fundraiser and paid for winning students to attend CiCis Pizza in Limousine and Donate portion of fundraiser to school.
• Host Yahoo/Boo Hoo Breakfast for Kinder Parents and any new parents to Shady Brook

• Purchase all staff Exemplary shirts at beginning of year
• Host Grand Parents Day/provide complimentary pictures                                                               
• Host Popcorn/coke Days at end of each month
• Host Skate Town Nights in September and October and host monthly Spirit Nights at various restaurants
• Set up and coordinate Homeroom parent meetings to organize classroom Parties
• Provided Free Dinners, Drinks, Prizes & Snacks for various PTA meetings and school functions
• Provided Free Family Magic Show Night in November
• Paid for Cody Fisher to perform 2 Magic “Reading” Shows for students on Literacy Day
• Host Santa Breakfast & provide craft stations
• Decorate Cafeteria for Winter Holiday Season
• Co-host the Shady Brook Talent Show and Host Valentine’s Dinner & Dance
• Work in conjunction with counselor to provide Internet Safety Training for parents and Work in conjunction with nurse to provide Poison Prevention & Safety for families
• Host School Carnival & Silent Auction in spring
• Provide snacks for all students in Grades 3-6 on TAKS testing days
• Co host the Field Day each May and provide snacks, ribbons, tattoos, Inflatable Obstacle Course, and hair paint for all students and Provide color coordinated shirts for all students, staff and volunteers at Field Day
• Donate portion of money raised to 6th grade camp and end of year celebration
• Donate money to memorial funds for Shady Brook Family
• Pay for National School Nurse Association Fee yearly in order to provide services for students
• Assist as needed with 6 Week rewards (popsicles etc.) and Provide Monthly Birthday Club Celebrations for students.  Each student receives free ice cream coupon and prize
• Provide Kindergarten Round Up special treat bags and snacks
• Provide $250 Santa USA donation and Provide two $500 Scholarships for Graduating Seniors
• Set Up “Giving Tree” for teachers at Shady Brook and Provide Monthy Teacher/Staff Appreciations (pie giveaway, lunches, dessert buffets etc)
• Provide a free “Appreciation Picnic” in May for Shady Brook staff, parents, and students at last PTA Meeting
• Purchased new tables on wheels for the Library ($2300)
• Purchasing extra items ($500) for recess equipment for 3rd -6th graders
• Purchased the Moose Assignment Books for students entering 2nd -6th in 2011-12 School year ($1300)
• Will be repairing/replacing the small ice machine in the nurse’s office for the injuries and illnesses she encounters daily with our children.  (approximately $300-$500)
